All India Educational Movement is a forward step of UP Rabita Committee, under the chairmanship of eminent education activist Janab Saiyed Hamid, IAS, former VC of AMU and Chancellor of Jamia Hamdard. Amanullah Khan, current President was its first General Secretary. Due to his ill health and advanced age, Janab Saiyed Hamid excused from the President ship. On his advice baton was passed on to Br. Amanullah Khan in 2011. Br. Nizamuddin Molla replaced Amanullah Khan as its second General Secretary for the term 2011-14. Mr. Abdul Rashid is currently Gen. Secretary.
To promote its objectives, AIEM has been organizing annually All India Muslim Educational Conference. First Conference was held in Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi in February, 2010 under the guidance and chairmanship of founder President Saiyed Hamid. 2nd Conference was held in Shibli Academy, Azamgarh, UP, in March, 2011. 3rd in Hajj House Kolkata in March, 2012 and 4th in Cuttack (Odisha) in March 2013. The 5th Annual Conference was held in New Delhi on 22nd March, 2014 and 6th Conference was organized on 1st March, 2015 at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).
